Having trouble blocking dates on Arbiter Sports when you belong to MULTIPLE GROUPS that use the Arbiter for scheduling ??

Users need to be cognizant of the nuances of how the calendar is connected to different "organization ID's" once you are logged into the scheduling tool.

60 Seconds on Officiating takes a quick look at how to block INDIVIDUAL GROUPS if you belong to MULTIPLE GROUPS and use the Arbiter.

If you officiate for multiple organizations that utilize the Arbiter take notice to the GROUPS TAB located in the upper left hand column when you are navigating the DATES section of your calendar.

If you see more than one GROUP NUMBER, you have the ability to to UNCHECK and RECHECK the particular group that you would like to actually change blocks on the calendar.  The Arbiter does not give you a text description of which group number belongs to a particular group, but you can see this information on your login screen and during the SWITCH VIEW TAB located at the top of all menu screens.

Just write down this number when navigating back.

Another great feature of the CALENDAR BLOCK function ... is the ability to leave commentary under the Games / Blocks section.  This becomes useful if you would like to communicate with your assignors about potential problems, or let them know you can open up that date if they are really in a jam.

Take advantage of the powerful tools provided by Arbiter Sports to manage your calendar and blocks properly to keep ALL your assignors happy.
